Our CSR Activities
Making education accessible to all sections especially the girls in rural or poor areas is one of our focus areas. According to a survey in India from 2019 to 2021, respectively 96 percent of female and male of children aged six to 10 in urban India attended school. Meanwhile, only 64 percent of girls aged 15 to 17 residing in rural India attended school, compared to 79 percent of their counterparts in the urban region.
To tackle this challenge , we have collaborated with Shiksha Foundation, Mumbai where many programs are run to engage girls in tribal areas of Palghar. We have worked with Shiksha Foundation on following projects till date -
Project Dot - Creating Awareness about menstruation hygiene among the tribal girls in the age group 8 to 18 years.
Sponsoring annual fees for few of the girl students (from Class VI to Class X) belonging to economically backward section.
Fund raising for specific campaigns like distribution of annual stationary kits, personal hygiene kits , etc.
Pro-bono consulting in areas like volunteer management, digitization of fund raising campaigns , improved reporting and communication with donors.
A certain portion of our income is donated to Shiksha Foundation annually .
